He was not the recruit everyone wanted. Undersized and under-recruited, he started at a junior college. Then he grew 2 inches and added 50 pounds. He earned a scholarship to UCLA, signed under legendary coach Art Venegas, and became an NCAA Division I All-American, an Olympic Trials finalist, and ranked top 10 in the United States. In 2011, he added a Masters World Bronze Medal to his resume, showing that the system works across different bodies and timelines.

His own career is the proof. Hard work, persistence, and the right framework led to results that many thought were impossible.

Nearly two decades later, Coach Johnson has produced hundreds of championship titles. He has coached National Champions from Junior Olympic through high school, guided pro-level athletes through 8 U.S. Championships and multiple Olympic Trials, and developed coaches and athletes across three continents.

Walk into Nike Nationals, New Balance Nationals, Adidas Nationals, or Junior Olympic Championships and look at the finalists. There is a strong chance several of them have trained with Coach Johnson or learned the Throwing Chain Reaction System from a coach who did.

This camp is open to athletes ages 9 to 100, all
levels of throwers and coaches.

For athletes ages 9 to 12, this is where we ask
parents to know your individual athlete. We've had 9-year olds with the attention span of grown adults who have a fantastic camp experience. We've also had 10-year olds who are drawn in by the dirt and have a difficult time staying focused and paying attention.

This camp is built for athletes who can stay engaged through lots of instruction and lots of preparation. We break it down the way it's intended.

If that sounds like your athlete, great. If it sounds like you might want to wait a year or two, we completely understand. Feel free to call our office if you'd like to discuss it further. We're happy to answer that question specifically for your athlete.

Absolutely. There's plenty of room to bring a pop
up tent or chairs, and there are bleachers to sit on.

To keep the camp on time, we ask that you bring a lunch and snacks. The break is only 30 minutes.

It also helps us keep track of everyone and gives the athletes a chance to rest before we hit FULL THROWS.

We ask that recording be limited and respectful.

Short clips and quick videos of your athlete are
totally fine. We get it. You want to capture the
moment.

What we ask you not to do is record long sessions or capture everything being taught. The full TCR System is available through our subscription programs (Method for athletes, Academy for coaches), where you have access to everything we teach at the camp plus much more.

We'll also be recording plenty and taking lots of
pictures. Your registration includes the Bonus
Bundle with the TCR Launch Video Series, the QR Video Library on-site, and the 3-Day Post-Camp Review Series. You leave with the system in your hands.

Due to the nature of camp logistics, insurance, and preparation, we don't issue refunds. But your camp fee doesn't disappear. You can roll it into one of the following options:
